    User Experience Designer

    You know that a good application, website, or product is more than just the code, infrastructure, and a nice-looking interface - it's the way it addresses a user's needs.

    As an experience designer, you put yourself in the user's place and design the best way for them to engage with digital resources and applications such as SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, PowerBi, Adobe Creative Cloud, and more.

    We're looking for someone creative like you to work with a team of a wide variety of stakeholders with diverse needs to craft the ultimate UX.

    Working on an agile team, you'll build skills in designing large-scale digital experiences that are as intuitive as they are aesthetically pleasing.


    You'll be involved with the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, interface design, and front-end development.

    You'll advocate for the prioritizations of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements, all the while keeping the end-user at the center of your work.

    Help our clients meet their mission by enabling user adoption of digital tools and resources.

    Experience with the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, visual layout, interaction design, and usability testing
    Ability to elicit business, functional, and customer requirements to design backend microservices and process workflows
    Ability to obtain a security clearance
    Bachelor's degree orHS diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience with UX analysis and design in lieu of a degree

    Experience with designing or coding responsive digital platforms
    Experience with front-end development, 3D art, data visualization, and graphic design principles
    Knowledge of UX strategy, content strategy, product management, service design, and UX copywriting
    Secret clearance

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

    The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.Our people-first culture prioritizes the benefits of flexibility and collaboration, whether that happens in person or remotely.
