    Brief Summary of Job Description
    Provide office support duties for Director of Early Childhood Education and the Plambeck Early Childhood Education Center.

    Duties will include answering telephone calls, word processing, maintain and organize cross-index filing system, and assist with financial records of the Plambeck Center.

    Job Duties
    Serve as the public relations professional for Plambeck Early Childhood Education Center. This includes answering telephone calls and emails, greeting, directing and providing information to visitors, students, and staff.
    Maintain a professional office atmosphere.

    Provide administrative/clerical support and assist the Director in the effective and efficient operation of the Plambeck Early Childhood Education Center.

    Must be able to work independently on regularly performed duties, must have strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, be a self-starter, dependable and flexible.

    Open, sort, record and distribute mail and route, file or prepare appropriate responses. Maintain and organize files and perform accurate cross-index filing system.

    Operate standard office equipment such as fax, phone systems, printers, copier and computers; exhibit knowledge and use of email, Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.) for recording, storing, retrieving, and compiling information.

    Must be willing to learn and utilize new business technologies.

    Assist with financial records of the Plambeck Center by preparing, recording and filing purchase orders and invoices to SAP and our filing system and reconciling SAP reports.

    Support the center in its effort to be compliant with rules, regulations and reporting to comply with licensing requirements.
    Must have a high level of professional discretion and maintain confidentiality of all department communications especially related to sensitive data including financial documentation, salaries, and correspondence
    Work collaboratively with other campus entities to ensure a clean and safe environment for child, families, staff and guests of the Plambeck Center

    Required Qualifications
    Must be at least 19 years of age.

    High School Diploma; previous experience in office environment with an emphasis on customer service; must have strong human relations skills and good oral and written communication skill; must be able to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds; general understanding of the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.

    Must be able to pass a background investigation and HHS background check.

    Preferred Qualifications
    Associate's degree and early childhood experience preferred.
