    NW Employment is partnered with a local Electrical and Pump manufacturing company and we are looking to add a Warehouse Receiver to join our team in Canby

    As a Warehouse Receiver, you will be responsible for verifying delivered items, unloading trucks, ensuring items are stored correctly, and processing returns. The Warehouse Receiver also inspects deliveries with great attention to detail and ensures efficient receiving processes while promptly resolving any problems or discrepancies.

    Pay-$22-$25/hr

    Schedule- 7 am-3:30 pm Mon-Fri

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Compare purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists.
    • Inspect deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria.
    • Receive, sign for, and unload deliveries from trucks using a forklift.
    • Process returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
    • Organize and store received items in appropriate areas.
    • Update inventory with received items.
    • Communicate with vendors regarding delays or problems.
    • Maintain records of orders, delivery details, etc.
    • Perform cycle counts.
    • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
    • Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
    • Follows standard operating procedures.
    • Transact inventory movements using inventory control system.
    • Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
    • Keeps work area safe, clean and organized.
    • Unload and transport items to be stocked in warehouses and or storage yards.
    • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
    • Perform domestic and international shipping activities.
    • Package and stock finished goods items.
    • Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

    SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:
    • Maintains confidentiality and uses discretion with business information.
    • Utilizes common-sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
    • Plans the time, method, manner, and/or performance sequence of own work.
    • Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
    • Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats.
    • Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

    Education and Experience:
    • Equivalent of four years of high school (preferred).
    • Experience in Forklift unloading trucks.
    • Minimum two years of verifiable warehouse receiving.
