    Job Summary

    The Director, IT Enterprise Integration Services is responsible for overseeing the operation of the Enterprise Integration Services and ensuring it supports the business objectives of the organization.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

    · Lead a technology team that is responsible for implementing and maintaining APIs, application Integrations, data integrations and messaging solutions to deliver the business capabilities.

    · Maintain and manage the Enterprise Integration Systems application portfolio including Java Spring boot, Software AG, Azure API Management, Talend, EDI, and other integration technologies

    · Accountable for the architecture, design, implementation, DevOps and SRE functions of Enterprise Integration Services to support our application portfolio.

    · Formulate and execute a comprehensive enterprise Integration strategy aligned with organizational goals and business objectives.

    · Work closely with IT Application directors and other partners to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions that enhance Tractor Supply's application portfolio.

    · Establish and maintain robust quality engineering processes, including testing methodologies and automated testing frameworks, to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and security of software solutions.

    · Establish best practices and governance frameworks for software development and platform engineering for APIs, application Integrations, data integrations and messaging infrastructure.

    · Responsible for CI/CD, production support operations (L2/L3), alerts, monitoring and availability of the interfaces and integration platforms.

    · Implement effective talent management strategies, including recruitment, training, and development, to build and maintain a high-performing team.

    · Define broad project deliverables, service level agreements, and commit resources to IT management, executive team, department leads, support staff, and end users. Provide technical and management leadership to direct and indirect reports.

    · Support development and implementation of IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, project management, and SDLC standards, purchasing, and service provision.

    · Lead and inspire a dynamic software engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

    · Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action.

    · Support the annual strategic planning process by partnering with Leaders in all areas of TSC, including technology, infrastructure, store operations, merchandising, marketing, OMNI channel and finance.

    · Maintain a strong partnership and working relationship with all of our third-party vendors; ensure we are getting the best possible resources and that they are on task and on schedule with projects and initiatives.

    Required Qualifications

    Experience: 8 years IT experience working with applications development. Integration development preferred. 5+ years of leading engineering teams and systems management preferred.

    Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

    Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities

    · Experience in IT architecture practices, project lifecycle management, software development and operations/support. Strong knowledge of IT financial management.

    · Possess a blend of business to have a big-picture vision as well as the drive and attention to detail that transforms strategy into action.

    · Strong leadership and analytical skills. Proven track record of building technology roadmaps and executing them in collaboration with partners and drive organizational engineering and capability maturity.

    · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong ability to influence both IT and business partners.

    · Experience and comfort dealing with all levels of a matrixed organization and leading primarily through influence.

    · Expertise in leading diverse, geographically distributed teams and in navigating the complexities associated with different locations and time zones.

    · Mastery of modern software development practices, including agile and lean tenets, CI/CD, and the broader DevOps movement with demonstrated improvements to software delivery performance.

    · Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical requirements.

    · Ability to lead, mentor, and grow large high performing teams to meet business objectives and quality standards.
