    About the Role

    The Certification Exam Specialist will leverage technical and project management expertise to manage the entire lifecycle of exam content, databases, and processes essential to publishing and maintaining certification exams. You will import exam content from clients, prepare and configure exams for publication, and perform quality control on exam materials using PSI's proprietary software.

    This is a full-time, permanent role with flexible hours from Monday to Friday. This position can be performed remotely, with occasional travel required for meetings, events, and workshops.

    Role Responsibilities

    • Onboard new clients, assessing their testing needs for optimal setup.
    • Intake and publish new exams for existing clients within established timelines.
    • Establish and maintain timelines for exam publication activities, tracking progress with project management software.
    • Accurately format and import client content into item banking and test delivery systems.
    • Prepare tests for publication and implement necessary updates.
    • Collaborate with IT teams and management to provide software support and training to clients.
    • Identify and address potential issues related to test publication, offering effective solutions.
    • Conduct quality control checks as per departmental procedures, resolving issues promptly.
    • Assist other Content Management teams with test publication tasks.
    • Help develop and maintain documentation for Test Content Services processes and technology tools, including user guides.
    • Stay informed and proficient in using our proprietary item banking and exam delivery software.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • At least 1 year of experience in exam publication, item bank management, or database management.
    • Excellent communication skills are essential.
    • Creative problem-solving abilities are necessary.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
    • Familiarity with Jira is a plus.
    • Experience with XML, HTML, and QTI file formats is preferred.
