    TheDepartment of Pediatrics at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Centeris seeking an experienced Pediatric Pulmonologist to serve as Division Chief.

    Rank and track will be dependent onexperience.

    The incumbent will have a proven record of accomplishment inleadership, clinical excellence, patient care, education, and mentorship inorder to develop the Division in all of its mission areas.

    We are offering a full-time position ideallysuited to the BC pediatric pulmonologist who wishes to practice medicine in aclinical/academic climate with the assistance of a skilled multidisciplinaryteam in a state with a diverse population.

    The pulmonary division at UNM is adynamic academic program with clinical, teaching and research activities. Weare an accredited Cystic Fibrosis Center.
    The UNM Children's Hospital is the tertiary referral center for NewMexico. Additional programs include asthma, rural outreach, pulmonary telehealth,pediatric sleep, chronic ventilation, and bronchoscopy. Opportunities exist forresearch, community advocacy, education, and expansion of our already thrivingclinical programs.


    QualificationsMinimumQualifications:


    Able to obtain state licensure(s) in the state of New MexicoBC in Pediatric PulmonaryExperience in Medical LeadershipFive years clinical experiencePreferredQualifications: Bronchoscopy experienceExperience with state-wide outreach programsEvidence for leadership roles in academic medicineExperience mentoring of junior facultyExperience in graduate and undergraduate medical educationExperience with researchExperience with Quality ImprovementExperience at an accredited Cystic Fibrosis CenterA demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
