    Job Title: Sr. Security Analyst

    About the Role:

    The Sr. Security Analyst is a key member of our Web Security Experts team, responsible for designing and implementing strong security solutions to protect our customers' web traffic. This role requires a deep understanding of security principles and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide world-class customer experience and security outcomes for our customers.
    • Tune Alert Logic proprietary security products to maximize risk mitigation and reduce threats to customer environments.
    • Respond expeditiously to customer service impacting issues and challenges experienced with the use of Alert Logic products and services in accordance with service level agreements and customer requirements.
    • Provide support to Alert Logic customers by analyzing and reviewing logs related to their web traffic and make targeted, high-impact security recommendations.
    • Develop comprehensive knowledge of Alert Logic products and services with focus on solutions key to the web security role.
    • Effectively communicate and collaborate with a global team and across multiple departments to identify improvements to the customer experience and to maximize operational efficiencies.
    • Represent customer and team interests in product, engineering, and security content discussions.
    • Provide security expertise including investigation, documentation, and remediation recommendations as required for customer incident response preferences.
    • Maintain and configure Alert Logic solutions deployed in customer environments.
    • Produce Knowledge Base Articles for best practices in your team's specific area of expertise as they pertain to the use of Alert Logic solutions.

    Requirements:

    • 1 - 3 years of experience in securing or developing web applications or as a security analyst or security focused network engineer.
    • Intermediate understanding of cloud environments and infrastructure (preferably AWS).
    • Command of Linux systems administration and working with BASH.
    • Intermediate understanding of the OWASP Top 10.
    • Intermediate understanding of application and session layer protocols.
    • Experience with SOAR, SIEM, IR, MDR or XDR solutions.
    • Basic understanding of Regular Expression.
    • Basic knowledge of IDS and Network Security fundamentals.

    Salary:

    $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

    Location:

    Remote or hybrid work arrangement.
