    Our Lewiston office has a full-time position available for a Patient Service Navigator Holiday rotations, and weekend rotations


    PRIMARY PURPOSE:

    To perform secretarial and general office work, direct and monitor the daily unit operation in order to facilitate the timely completion of paperwork, perform a variety of specialized duties, including data entry, scheduling of patient visits and maintain optimum communications with staff and Supervisor.

    The Patient Service Navigator may exercise judgment and initiative in non-routine situations and can function without direct supervision.


    EDUCATION:
    High School diploma required. Graduation from a two-year business college with an Associates degree preferred. Medical terminology preferred or willingness to acquire it. Computer coursework or equivalent experience also required.


    EXPERIENCE:
    Two or three years of office experience required. Experience in a medical/clinical office setting preferred. Basic computer knowledge and data entry experience required. Experience dealing with the public in a fast-paced multi-task environment required. Customer service skills also required.
