    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a Data Scientist for the ML/AI Services team at team harnesses human input from a global team of clinical experts to improve the accuracy and relevancy of our clinical AI & LLM models. This role will be primarily responsible for driving continuous improvements in our LLM based models for extracting knowledge from structured and unstructured healthcare data to drive healthcare innovation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Gain a thorough understanding of the various LLM models employed in the process of extracting knowledge from unstructured healthcare data.
    • Assess current performance and areas of improvements against various customer and third party datasets.
    • Drive efforts for identifying and selecting appropriate data for training each model from available datasets.
    • Work closely with the clinical data operations team in Egypt for human annotation and preparation of data for training the models.
    • Generate detailed analytics to evaluate model performance improvements and/or regression.
    • Review results with the broader AI team and plan subsequent iterations.
    • Work closely with Engineering teams to drive improvements in our Data Platform and ML Platform processes, tooling and capabilities to accelerate ongoing continuous improvement cycles.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
    • 6+ years of professional experience in data science and working with large data sets.
    • Expertise using ML Flow and Kubeflow.
    • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in Java desired.
    • Skills in applied statistics, such as hypothesis testing, anomaly detection, clustering, and regression analysis.
    • machine learning algorithms, processes, tools, and platforms, including but not limited to Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
    • Experience with cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
    • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik Sense, Looker).
    • Proven ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects with attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in creating and testing ETL pipelines and expertise in cleansing and integrating data from disparate sources.
    • Big Data experience is a significant plus
    • Strong analytical skills to analyze complex business and AI data.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior experience training or fine tuning Large Language Models.
