Job Title: IT Business Analyst

Minimum of 5 years working in Information Technology field with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Minimum 3 years experience as a Business Analyst or Project Coordinator
Experience in a government setting
Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM module for managing and updating projects
Ability to organize and lead highly technical focus groups composed primarily of Infrastructure, Network Systems, and Desktop services
Demonstrates professional organization, documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Analytical problem-solving abilities, proactive/positive team player, resourceful, and innovative
Hands-on experience developing technical and user-friendly communications as well as documenting technical requirements, creating job aids, and monitoring project progress using Service-Now
Proven multi-tasking skills, including the ability to work effectively under pressure, handle heavy volumes, and meet demanding deadlines

Preferred Skills:

Ability to work in a Balanced Matrix environment, with tenured resources and evolving priorities
Excellent command of written and spoken English, should demonstrate fluency in both oral and writing communications
Minimum of 3 years' experience in local government
Ability to communicate effectively with external stakeholders as well as internal staff
Self-starter with the ability to take on tasks with minimal direction when needed
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills
Pass a stringent criminal background check (May take up to 8 weeks)
