    MRI Technologist Qualifications

    Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting

    Valid New York State License (required for New York MRI jobs)

    ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification

    BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

    MRI and CT advanced certification preferred but not required

    Ability to float to other imaging modalities if multi-modality trained

    MRI Technologist Responsibilities

    Operate GE MRI scanners to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures

    Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all MRI procedures

    Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver accurate imaging results

    Maintain precise patient records and clinical documentation

    Follow hospital protocols and healthcare safety standards

    Participate in weekend and on-call rotations as required

    Float to other imaging modalities as needed if qualified
