Publicly traded company in Phoenix is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their corporate team in Phoenix, Arizona. This is an in office position.


Job duties:
Partner with Finance, understand their goals, and execute on opportunities to draw relevant insights and drive tangible impactMine large datasets to develop actionable insightsPresent discoveries/insights and give recommendations to encourage data-driven decisionsComplete the full analytics lifecycle from understanding the business objective and understanding the data to developing automated reporting and visualizationsExtract, transform, and load (ETL) financial data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and consistencyCommunicate complex financial concepts and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectivelyResearch, recommend, and learn new analytics tools and platformsAutomate existing manual processes and identify areas for further improvementsDevelop self-serve capabilitiesPerform in-depth analysis of financial data, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies to provide meaningful insights and recommendationsIdentify possible areas of further investigation

Background Required:
BA/BS in Mathematics/Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, or other technical field, advanced analytics degrees preferred5+ years of related experience as a Finance Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven organizationStrong business acumen and an ability to present analysis in a compelling mannerExpert in SQL, experienced in using data visualization tools (ex. Tableau)Well versed in utilizing SmartsheetsExperience in building advanced statistical/Machine Learning based financial forecasting models is a plusStrong analytical skills for problem solving; can perform descriptive and diagnostic analysisLed projects from concept through completionAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and manage multiple priorities effectivelyAbility to find answers to ambiguous problemsExperience forming effective cross-functional partnerships#J-18808-Ljbffr
