    As a Vendor Relation Risk Specialist Senior within PNC's Enterprise Third Party Management organization, you may be based in Pennsylvania, or Ohio.

    Additional locations may be considered.

    This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for assisting the Retail, Retail Lending, and CIO Treasury LOB's in identifying and managing risk associated with products or services outsourced to third parties with the goal of improving vendor performance, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
    • Consults with vendors to remediate risks identified in the risk assessment process.
    • Responsible for coordinating ongoing monitoring activities (performance meetings, metric review, etc.) between the LOB and third parties.
    Job Description

    Identifies and manages risks associated with products or services that are essential to the bank with the goal of mitigating risk, improving vendor performance, and compliance with applicable regulations.

    Focused engagement population of critical engagements and third parties.

    Regularly interfaces with critical vendors and organizational staff to interpret needs and provide accurate specifications and risk mitigation solutions for complex services.

    Regularly identifies opportunities and leads projects to enhance and increase efficiencies in the program, where applicable.

    Manages risk associated with a product or service with the goal of improving vendor and overall program performance and compliance with applicable regulations.

    Leads the review of new and existing contract assignments for compliance with applicable regulations for critical engagements and third parties.

    Consults with vendors to remediate risks identified in assessment process. Recommends, initiates and/or drives improvement opportunities on complex engagements and critical third parties.
    Responsible for the creation of training documentation, risk specialist process documents, reports and required documents for management review.

    Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.

    Certifications are often desired.

    In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
