Job summary
The patient care technician provides support to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment by assisting with setup and operation of dialysis machines, maintaining a safe working environment,and performing various tasks as assigned.
- Evaluate vascular access for patency.
- Perform administration of Heparin as delegated or as allowed by state law.
- Maintain environmental integrity and aesthetics - ensure all areas are safe and clean.
