- Controls traffic flow and parking of vehicles.
- Cleans the sales showroom, service, and customer areas.
- If customer's vehicle is in for service appointment, records customer's name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage.
- Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc.
- Courteously drives customers to their homes or places of business and picks them up to return to dealership.
- Uses good judgment and safe driving skills.
- Operates radio, phone, or similar device to communicate with dealership and coworkers.
- Keeps a record of trips including names of passengers and destinations
- Washes all windows, glass doors and glass panels throughout service area.
- Mops and cleans service waiting area.
- Sweeps technician stalls, service department and body shop floors, showroom, halls, and vending areas.
- Maintains hot beverage areas by cleaning counter surfaces and restocking coffee and related supplies as needed.
- Cleans all shop equipment.
- Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside.
- Removes any old scrap parts from shop after checking with parts manager.
- Returns core parts to storage area.
- Assists technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Keeps friendly attitude while providing quality customer service for all guests
