    Job Description

    Selectek has an immediate opportunity for an Electrical Engineer in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will ensure all codes and standards are met for: Power, Lighting, Fire Protection Alarm systems, Audio/Video, and IT systems. You must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the United States to be considered.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review building designs submitted to the committee to ensure all code compliance is met and all quality standards are in line
    • Make sure all safety codes and constructability codes are met
    • Ensure all NEC standards are met
    • Conduct reviews of Power, Lighting, Audio/Video, IT, and Fire Alarm Protection units

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
    • 5+ years of experience in electrical design, construction document preparation, and review for Commercial or Education facilities
    • Strong NEC Knowledge
    • Strong Communication Skills
    • RCDD Certification (Strongly Preferred)
    • Plan Review Experience for Local Municipality or State Government
    • Experience as a commissioning agent/authority.
    • Experience as a facility manager or working with facility managers during design, construction or project turn-over and occupancy

    Pay and Wages: $80,000 - $90,000 annual salary depending on education and experience
