Reporting directly to the Dean of Teaching and Learning, the Teaching and Learning Developer (TLD) creates and delivers development programs and educational materials for the faculty of Chamberlainto promote faculty development. TLDs will guide the growth of faculty with purposeful and effective approaches that promote extraordinary preparation of faculty at undergraduate and graduate levels.TLDs will evaluate the effectiveness of the development programs and provide continuous quality improvement of the teaching/learning materials and modalities as well as develop and maintain communications to the faculty of new initiatives and courses as available. TLDs will lead teams in development and facilitation of programs to support faculty in teaching and learning practices, research and scholarship, and foster personal and professional growth and mentoring.

In this role you will:

• Collaboratewith campus and program leadership toidentify faculty needs and delivereducational offerings to advance the effectiveness and professional development of faculty.
• Design, implementand evaluateeffectiveness of ongoing faculty training and professional development programs such as faculty workshops, seminars, asynchronous learning opportunities and formal education courses.
• Serveas a resource person and mentor for faculty and program leadership.
• Driveimproved outcomes through monitoring and tracking results against goals and outcomes.
• Buildand maintainrelationships with campus and online faculty to ensure collaboration in initiatives and programs.
• Collaboratewith national teams to support and maintain a mechanism for sharing of best teaching practices throughout the University.
• Maintainaccurate records of CFE sponsored faculty training and developmental activities including topics presented, attendee lists and evaluations.
• Guideand supportexemplary programs that encourage transformative learning such as the international experience program and other initiatives.
• Evaluateand updatedevelopment materials.
• Recommendand usetechnology to implement faculty training and development in a cost-effective manner.
• Completeother projects and duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.

• PhD in nursing (or related field), from a regionally accredited institution.
• Five (5) years of nursing education experience, including didactic and clinical, as well asbroad clinical nursing experience.
• Experience designing and implementing development programs based on adult learning theory.
• Three (3) years ofexperience teaching in an online environment.
• Curriculum development experience.
• Previous scholarship commensurate with Assistant Professor rank or above.
• Effectively and consistently guide teams and development programs.
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate the details of multiple concurrent projects as well as manage a variety of business and vendor resources.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision and direction.
• Proficient with project management practices and tools.
• Capability to influence and instill credibility in administrative team peers and subordinates by meeting project milestones, deadlines and budget.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build relationships.
• Proven effective and consistent interpersonal, organizational, conflict resolution, management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Current unencumbered registered nurse license.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $77,996.84 and $140, Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
