Responsibilities
Implement all aspects of receiving storing and dispensing controlled and non-controlled substancesPerform as required by applicable federal and state regulations daily reconciliation of controlled substancesMaintain as required by applicable federal and state regulations accurate individual patient medication dosage sheets and urinalysis resultsAdminister medication dosages and evaluate patients for side effects or reactionsDocumentand sign entries in patient treatment records as required by applicable federal and state regulationsEnsure patient confidentiality security at the dispensing windowAdminister as needed medication to patients who are locally hospitalizedProvide appropriate documentation to Medical Directorand/or Clinic Manageras required by applicable federal and state regulationsEnsure that forms are completed in their entiretyMaintain patient charts filingEnsure knowledgeof observeapplicablefederal anda tate regulationsOrient newpatients to the programs policies rulesproceduresSkills
- Active California nursing technician license (includes RegisteredNurse LicensedVocationalNurseorLicensedPsychiatricTechnician)
