over-the-road and warehouse procurement activities.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of logistics and procurement processes, vendor management, market analysis and have a sound financial acumen.
The role requires a proven track record in driving cost-effective procurement strategies while maintaining a very high standard of quality and efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals, business needs, while focusing on optimizing logistics processes.
Present and influence the decision-making process of the category roadmap with senior leadership
Create and own the strategic relationship with North America over the road providers and warehouse partners as well as internal stakeholders while building collaboration within and across organizational boundaries.
Develop a detailed RFQ process, and lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms and contractual obligations while ensuring high quality service.
Proven ability to lead cross functional teams, foster collaboration across diverse departments (Operations, Finance, Compliance , Legal) and influence stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
Lead the yearly procurement logistics NAM modes budgeting and planning process to meet company financial goals and personal savings goals (G&O's).
Be the expert in this space , stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, regulatory changes and adapt strategies accordingly.
Establish and manage supplier key performance indicators to better manage the effectiveness of procurement as well as monitor performance, establish process for RCA, performance improvement process/ escalation and reporting.
Conduct quarterly business reviews with providers to provide performance evaluations on service levels, sustainability measures, optimization and efficiency opportunities, market reviews, contract renewals, and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise.
Deliver robust contracts that deliver favorable pricing and terms while contractually delivering stable, consistent service for the business and customers.
Support the organization by sourcing providers that will enable our corporate net zero carbon footprint goals, promoting responsible sourcing and minimizing services that impede those goals.
Leverage other Veolia businesses ( VWT/ VNA etc.) in these modes and deliver synergy opportunities in the most cost-effective way taking into consideration total cost.

Education & ExperienceRequired:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in logistics, supply chain, business, or equivalent discipline
10+ years' work experience in procurement logistics or supply chain
Operational hands-on experience in trucking and warehouse operations including distribution network a plus.
Experience with SAP ERP, Transportation Management Systems, Tableau, Google tools ( Sheets, drives etc.)
Working Conditions
