    **Description**

    For fun at work, just add water Make a splash this summer working at the Shawnee Municipal pools Gain valuable customer service and teamwork experience in a fun environment. The Cashier is responsible for maintaining an efficient register operation, including courteous and accurate customer service, a clean, neat counter area, consistent inventory levels and accurately cash counts. ***Pay for this position begins at $7.25 per hour. Additional compensation will be provided for employees who return after one season.***

    **Position Responsibilities:**

    Greet all patrons in a polite and courteous manner

    Take orders and serve customers

    Fill out daily reports

    Operate the cash register and maintain accurate funds. Distribute correct change. Balance the cash drawer daily at the end of shift

    Clean work place areas

    Inform Manager of items to order

    Always conduct oneself in a professional manner

    Performs other related duties as requested or assigned by the Pool Manager or Aquatics Director

    **Minimum Qualifications:**

    Must be at least 15 years of age or older by May 31, 2022

    Cash register experience is preferred

    Must successfully pass a written math test

    Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification or the ability to obtain certification prior to beginning employment

    **Supplemental Information:**

    This is a seasonal, non-benefits eligible position. The position will be posted until filled.
