The Border Patrol Agents work at one of over forty permanent checkpoints along U.S. borders with Canada or Mexico, as well as at mobile immigration checkpoints located inland near major highways.

Duties:

• Contact witnesses before taking statements from them on cases involving suspected human rights violations during border crossing attempts


• Cross-check information obtained from sources against data stored about persons convicted for federal crimes such as smuggling contraband across state lines etc..


• Gather facts which help assess whether individuals are suitable candidates for asylum status under international agreements regarding refugees seeking refuge abroad due serious reasons like fear persecution back home if returned there now after fleeing those countries where atrocities took place originally causing trauma; track down these aliens everywhere including sea-coastlines adjacent Americas,
  mountains ranges stretching outwards towards heartlands– valleys basin towns!</i>
