Information Systems and Network Management Analyst - El Paso, United States - Perryman Company
Description
The Information Systems and Network Management Analyst will work with the electrical and IT team to manage the maintenance, data collection and analysis of hardware and software information and systems.
Key Accountabilities
Manage data collection from production equipment including PLC's, HMI's and process measurement systems and complete analysis of hardware and software data.
Manage network connections to production equipment.
Manage system licensing and support contracts.
Manage alarm notification servers.
Maintain and update network diagrams and documentation.
Setup and configure data collection systems for Realtime data acquisition.
Setup, configure and maintain Historian servers.
Setup and configure reports, report generators and portals. Present data findings to leadership.
Work with IT in establishing new network connections.
Data archiving and management.
Work across all divisions and locations, (Houston, Pike, Coal Center, Frackville). Instruct personnel on using report software.
Collaborates with department managers in reviewing data to identify and assess equipment needs and/or efficiencies.
Other duties as necessary.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field required.
Two to five years of experience in information systems or related field, preferred.
Knowledge of Iba data analysis software, Stratus Servers, Rockwell Historian, Communications protocols, (TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP), preferred.
PLC communications, (A/B, Automation Direct, Siemens, Schneider Electric) a plus.
Proficiency in system management tools and methodologies.
Excellent technical, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines.
Exposure or previous experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
