    About the Job:

    Peak Energy is looking for a skilled and innovative Industrial Robotics Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing robotic systems used in battery manufacturing processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop industrial robotic systems used in battery manufacturing processes, ensuring they are efficient, precise, and meet quality and safety standards.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and program robotic systems to perform tasks such as assembly, testing, and material handling in battery production.
    • Identify and recommend appropriate robotic equipment and technologies that can enhance automation and optimize production processes.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve robotic processes to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and increase production throughput.
    • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to establish and maintain stringent quality control standards for robotic processes, ensuring they meet or exceed industry and company specifications.
    • Ensure that robotic systems adhere to safety protocols and industry standards. Implement and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of robotic system specifications, programming, and maintenance records. Provide training to operators and maintenance personnel.
    • Investigate and resolve robotic system-related issues, such as programming errors, malfunctions, and inefficiencies, using root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field) or Robotics. A Master's degree is a plus.
    • Proven experience in robotics engineering, particularly in battery manufacturing or a related industry.
    • Experience of deployment of industrial robots within manufacturing environments, such as but not limited to Kuka, Fanuc, Yasakawa, ABB etc.
    • Strong knowledge of battery manufacturing processes and automation systems.
    • Proficiency in robotic programming and simulation software.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Willingness to adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
    • Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations related to robotic systems in battery manufacturing.
