Position: Social Worker

Location: Lockport, Illinois School Districts

Overview: Clarifi Staffing Solutions is looking for a caring and committed Social Worker to join our team and assist school districts throughout Illinois. As a Social Worker, you'll play a crucial role in addressing students' social, emotional, and behavioral requirements, helping them overcome obstacles to academic achievement and fostering a positive school atmosphere. This role presents an excellent chance to have a significant impact on students and their families' lives.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
Develop and execute personalized intervention plans to enhance students' well-being and academic success
Administer individual and group counseling to tackle various emotional and behavioral challenges
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and other school personnel to devise and implement effective support strategies for students
Take part in various team meetings, such as IEP and 504 meetings
Provide crisis intervention and assistance during critical situations
Link students and families with external resources and community services when necessary
Maintain precise and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress tracking
Conduct home visits as needed to engage with families and address students' requirements
Stay updated on the latest school social work practices through continuous professional development and training

Requirements

Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
Valid Illinois state license (LSW or LCSW) or eligibility for licensure
Experience working with children and teenagers in a school environment
Thorough knowledge of social work principles, ethics, and methodologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a diverse team
Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards
