    Description
    Job Overview:

    We are looking for a reliable Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The perfect candidate will help patients with daily activities and provide essential care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.



    Duties:
    • Assist patients with personal hygiene such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
    • Aid patients with mobility and transfers
    • Record vital signs and health information accurately
    • Assist with serving meals and feeding patients
    • Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms
    • Offer emotional support to patients and their families

    Requirements:
    • Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program
    • Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA)
    • Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices
    • Previous experience in a teaching hospital or inpatient environment is advantageous
    • Familiarity with hospice care procedures
    • Understanding of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and patient care systems
    • Proficiency in maintaining precise medical records and assisting with medical office tasks
    • Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) usage and maintenance

    Pay:
    $25.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 36 per week

    Physical setting:
    • Long term care
    • Rehabilitation center

    Standard shift:
    • Day shift

    Supplemental pay types:
    • Bonus opportunities

    Supplemental schedule:
    • Holidays

    Weekly schedule:
    • 3x12
    • Monday to Friday
    • Weekends as needed

    Experience:
    *CNA: 1 year (Required)
    * long term care, skill nursing: 1 year (Required)

    License/Certification:
    • BLS/CPR card from AHA (Required)
    • CNA license for CA state (Required)

    Ability to Commute:
    • Lake Isabella, CA (Required)

    Ability to Relocate:
    • Lake Isabella, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
