- Oversee Junior estimators
- Civil Estimator will assist and collaborate with team members and develop bids with preconstruction team
- Responsible for everyday project activities, quality control, project deliverables, and plan set review
- Collaborate with engineers, architects and other workers in the same project
- Prepare Take-offs and quantity estimations
- Maintain excellent relationships with project partners - owner, consultants, subcontractors -- through constant communication and consistent professional behavior
- Coordinate regularly with other internal and/or external team members
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or similar
- Prior experience in civil estimating preferred.
- Coachable, communicates well, strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines as well as balance multiple projects by prioritizing effectively
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal codes & regulations
