    Contract 12 Months. Pay rate: $58/hr on W-2 only. NO Corp to Corp.

    Responsibilities

    We currently have an opportunity for a Windows Infrastructure Engineer to join our client's Digital Plant (DP) team. The client is a biological Contract Development Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) and the Infrastructure Engineer would be responsible for ongoing support and maintenance of their current server hosting infrastructure along with development and expansion of systems moving forward. The person in this role is responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining, upgrading, and securing servers with all their software and hardware components. The Infrastructure Engineer will design highly available and safe infrastructure solutions to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.


    • Manage Windows updates, assist with Exchange Management console


    • Manage IT Datacenter, Physical and Virtualized Servers, Virtualization Clustering, and SANs


    • Responsible/Accountable for server/application builds and qualifications for manufacturing applications


    • Maintain all system backups and participate in Disaster Recovery planning and execution


    • Analyze, troubleshoot, and remediate server hardware/system related issues


    • Support existing systems - proactively manage and maintain multiple systems to ensure performance and availability


    • Work independently on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions


    • Provide Level 3 support to users


    • Provide off-hours support on a rotating basis as needed


    • Collaborate with partners and customers to identify, scope, plan and execute digital modernization and asset life cycle management activities


    • Provides ownership and accountability for Asset Life Cycle Management within ServiceNow


    • Partners with vendors to support site Building Automation Systems Infrastructure


    • Owns Active Directory, Time synchronization with NTP, Network Domain and Domain Controllers in Windows environment


    • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computerized systems in the Manufacturing areas. Work closely with IT Specialists, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Validation teams in assessment, recommendation and implementation of computerized system applications that supports site Business and Manufacturing processes

    Qualifications


    • Strong problem-solving skills, firm understanding of how to properly troubleshoot problems with as minimal client impact as possible


    • Excellent project management, verbal communication, documentation, and technical writing skills


    • Strong technical problem-solving abilities, written and verbal communication skills


    • Demonstrated success of leading effectively in a complex matrix project team environment


    • Team player with an emphasis on both knowledge sharing and learning


    • Knowledge of Windows Operating System, Domains, and Group Policies


    • Experience and/or substantial understanding of industrial IT Datacenter, Physical and Virtualized Servers, Virtualization Clustering, and SANs


    • Skilled in Active Directory, Time synchronization with NTP, Network Domain, Domain Controllers, and Databases


    • Ability to work in a diverse work environment, manage multiple priorities, and at times, be self-directed


    • Familiar with cyber security best practices and industry-standard tools


    • Experience with VPN, Routers, and Routing Protocols


    • Perform in depth systems analysis on a multitude of technology devices, operating systems and software


    • Ability to document, create, analyze and test computer systems, programs, and software


    • In-depth, advanced understanding of the AWS/Azure ecosystem and technologies and how to apply them in reliable and efficient means are a strong plus


    • Hands-on experience with Cisco appliances, ability to work within the CLI, are a strong plus


    • Experience and understanding of the Linux operation system a major plus


    • Prefer a minimum of 3-5 years high level, real world IT experience


    • AWS Solutions Architect Certification or similar

    Work within all Site Facilities, which requires one to give a high attention to detail and on occasion to properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

    This position is based indoors and the employee will primarily be working with others, but also independently. This position requires employee presence, on site 50-100%. This position is a team & project-based position that will require occasional shift work, weekends, and holidays.
