    POSITION SUMMARY
    Wise Automotive Group is looking for a Service Manager for our Vacaville location. This position is responsible for driving excellent results in customer service and operational proficiency in our service department. Our Service Managers must assist in the daily operations of the Workshop to ensure outstanding results month after month, and within all aspects of customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and fiscal performance.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Direct and schedule all activities of the service department employees.
    • Conduct monthly meetings with service department employees.
    • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
    • Lead by example, prioritize team success, and actively engage in team growth and development, providing regular feedback and mentoring.
    • Control the performance of the department through managing receivables, open work orders, and monitoring warranty process compliance.
    • Establish work schedules that are flexible to our clients' needs that drive department performance.
    • Exceed customer expectations, monitor service trends, and develop standards and processes to elevate the overall service experience.
    • Understand and improve all aspects of service center performance, championing safety, quality in service operations.
    • Understand business metrics, lead daily operations to achieve specific goals in productivity, quality, cost, and revenue growth where applicable.
    • Embrace change, excel in high-pressure situations, exhibit strong prioritization and time management skills, and combine analytical thinking with hands-on problem-solving and a customer-service mindset.
    • Advocate for customers and team success.

    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the automotive field
    • Proven CSI Record
    • Must hold a valid Driver's License
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
    • High school diploma or GED preferred.
    • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal communication including technical and math skills
    • Professional and dependable

    Physical Requirements:
    This position is based in a motor vehicle dealership environment. Occasional physical activity such as reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping to inspect repairs, and lifting and able to carry objects at least 50 pounds. Exposure to fumes, chemicals, dust, vehicle exhaust, along with high levels of noise is expected on a daily basis. You may be subjected to weather conditions both inside and outside. You may be required to wear protective equipment when necessary. Occasional sedentary work is expected. Must have visual acuity to determine the accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned.
