As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care to assigned patients as a member of the Patient Care Team.

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for gathering information necessary to complete the nursing process, such as patient advocacy, maintenance of aseptic technique, medication administration, documentation of treatments and care, management of equipment, patient safety and monitoring of vital signs.

You will also coordinate care with other disciplines related to patient education and care goals for discharge and optimal health status.

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) preferred if working a monitored unit;
• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• IV Therapy certificate required within 3 months of hire.

• Assists in answering call lights when on the nursing units (includes ancillary and non-patient care personnel).
