Job Summary

The ideal candidate for this role will provide exceptional customer service, operate a cash register with accuracy and efficiency, manage transactions, maintain store appearance, and adhere to company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide courteous and efficient service to customers at all times
• Cash Handling: Accurately scan and ring customer orders according to company policy
• Transaction Management: Receive and be accountable for all funds taken for each transaction
• Store Maintenance: Maintain work station and area around fuel station neat and clean
• Laws and Regulations: Know and follow all state and local laws regarding cigarette/tobacco sales and federal laws regarding food stamp
• Coupon Handling: Follow procedures for handling coupons
• Company Policies: Follow company check cashing and tendering policies
• Supportive Duties: Assist with light stocking duties, sweep and mop work area, collect trash as needed
• Pump Maintenance: Clean the concrete area around pumps daily and keep pumps clean
• Housekeeping: Replace misplaced items, restock paper towels and windshield wiper fluid, and perform other duties as assigned
