    Description

    You will support Heartlands growth by collaborating with Hiring Managers to provide world class, full cycle recruiting support to meet the needs of the organization in a timely and cost effective manner. You will have full responsibility for candidate sourcing, phone screening, assessment, interviewing, and managing the offer and hiring processes.

    Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

    • Management of open requisitions as assigned
    • Sourcing of passive candidates through online recruiting tools as well as candidate management through the Heartland Food Products Group careers portal
    • Schedule and conduct phone screens and onsite interviews
    • Assist with the on-boarding process and administrative functions related to HR and recruiting functions as needed
    • Attend recruiting events when necessary
    • All other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field is required
    • A minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, high-volume food manufacturing, distribution and multi-site organization preferred
    • Knowledge of ATS systems, preferably ADP
    • Strong foundation and understanding of direct candidate sourcing, with proven ability to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment, excellent collaboration and relationship building skills
    • Strong work ethic demonstrated by sense of urgency, flexibility and accuracy
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written

    Physical Demands:

    • Must be able to physically perform the functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
    • Must be able to work seated using a computer and phone for long periods of time
    • Must be able to work extended hours, such as daily overtime and an occasional weekend
    • Must possess visual acuity to document company records
    • Continuous walking throughout plant and distribution center
    • Lifting up to 40 pounds
