Position Summary:

As a CNC Machinist/Programmer, you will significantly contribute to the production of high-quality machined components across various sectors, including aerospace, automotive, and medical devices, all of which demand exceptional precision. Your role will involve setting up, operating, and programming CNC lathes, interpreting blueprints, making tooling adjustments, and utilizing precision measurement tools to guarantee the accuracy of the final products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and program Fanuc-controlled CNC Lathes using Mastercam, Gibbs, or other CAM software based on production requirements.
• Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure precise machining of components.
• Upload programs and make necessary adjustments to machine parameters.
• Select and install appropriate tooling, executing tooling offsets as necessary.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC machines.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) utilizing tools such as Vernier calipers, Dial calipers, Digital calipers, Micrometers, Bore micrometers, Depth micrometers, and Optical Comparators.
• Monitor quality control throughout the machining process.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in CNC machining.
• A minimum of 3 years in CNC programming, demonstrating proficiency in setup and operation.
• Strong skills in reading blueprints.
• Familiarity with reading and understanding CNC programs (G & M codes for Fanuc control).
• Knowledge of tool selection, tooling setup, and adjustments.
• Experienced in using metrology tools (CMM experience is an advantage).
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality production.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift
• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Overtime opportunities available

Salary Range: $32/hr - $42/hr (or) $75K - $110K based on experience.
