    Salary:
    $100, ,000/yearThis position allows for 1-2 days per week remote after on boarding. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing electrical wiring systems for various facilities, including commercial buildings, industrial plants, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, project management experience, and a commitment to ensuring electrical safety and compliance with codes and standards.

    ResponsibilitiesDesign and engineer electrical wiring systems for facilities, including power distribution, lighting, controls, and communication systems, using Revit and other engineering software.

    Prepare electrical drawings, plans, and specifications in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and project requirements.
    Conduct load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and short-circuit studies to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
    Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into overall building designs and infrastructure projects.
    Specify electrical equipment, materials, and components, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement.
    Perform site surveys, inspections, and field investigations to assess existing electrical systems, identify issues, and propose solutions.
    Review and approve electrical submittals, shop drawings, and construction documents, ensuring compliance with design specifications and codes.
    Coordinate with construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors during the installation, testing, and commissioning phases of electrical projects.
    Conduct electrical system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to verify performance and functionality.
    Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in electrical engineering and building codes.
    RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Master's degree and Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
    Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on electrical wiring for facilities.
    Proficiency in Revit software for electrical design and modeling.

    Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant codes and standards (e.g., IEEE, NFPA).Experience with power distribution systems, lighting design, fire alarm systems, and low-voltage systems.

    Familiarity with electrical calculations, such as load analysis, short-circuit calculations, and arc flash analysis.
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
    Project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination of engineering deliverables.$100,000 - $130,000 a year
