    Your Role With Us:
    Salem Health is looking for an Epic Analyst who specializes in Epic Grand Central & Prelude modules. This individual will help support the overall Epic EMR that allows clinicians to effectively and efficiently treat patients.

    Epic Analysts at Salem Health provide pivotal application development and support on crucial modules and data systems within a clinical setting.


    Core Functions:
    Plans, analyzes, designs, implements, tests, debugs and maintains Epic Grand Central & Prelude software applications.

    Provides guidance and support to end-users to enhance the use of the Epic System.

    Performs analysis and troubleshooting to resolve complex incidents not resolved by the user or Tier I support.


    Provides input into developing standards and requirements for new products/services and assists in assuring that new purchases fall within this structure.

    Responsible for maintaining the integrity of multiple systems, solves complex problems, and works independently; receives minimal guidance.


    Works with internal and external stakeholders for analysis and design of quality clinical build while considering vendor best practice recommendations, strategic organizational alignment, value to the customer, return on investment, maintenance considerations, and alternate solutions.

    Follows internal build standards, build documentation, and build change processes to assure consistency with build requirements and system stability.

    Ability to be on call 1 week per month

    Background/Expertise:
    Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or Health care preferred


    OR
    eight years related work experience


    OR


    equivalent combination of education and experience where each year of education equates to two years of experience (four years of experience will be substituted for an associate's degree and eight years of experience will be substituted for a bachelor's degree).Epic Grand Central certification required at date of hire.

    Additional Epic Certifications in one or more of the following modules preferred:
    Epic Prelude, Client Systems Administration, Healthy Planet, Security, Reporting Workbench, Radiant, Orders, or Clin Doc.

    Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills; solid communication skills, both oral and written; ability to work in department and interdepartmentally to articulate ideas, negotiate resolution of issues, and achieve objectives.

    Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other productivity tools, and assigned applications and technologies; experience with IT Service Management tools preferred.
