- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled; review job descriptions for vacancies
- Research, recommend, and execute technical recruiting strategies
- Stay up to date on recruiting research and best practices
- Screen candidates resumes and job qualifications and make recommendations to hiring manager
- Conduct initial interviews using various reliable personnel selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
- Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes regarding specialized job roles
- Source and attract candidates by using databases, social media etc.
- Prepare and post jobs to appropriate job boards, colleges, and other reliable sources
- Provide advice to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates
- Attend jobs fairs, industry conferences, and trade shows; run company booth at job fairs; may be required to host job fairs
- Administer human resources policies and procedures that pertain to recruiting and selection
- Process paperwork for functional area according to established procedures
- Travel may be required
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience in recruiting Cyber Security and/or IT is required
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience to include at least two (2) in government contracting is preferred
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance ability. TS/SCI clearance a plus
- Experience in sourcing candidates from multiple platforms. Creativity is a must.
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced, multi-faceted environment with rapidly changing demands
- Must have strong math, writing, and communications skills
- Must be able to use sound judgement, discretion, and maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to work well under pressure, prioritize task, and meet deadlines
- Must be detail oriented, with exceptional problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
- Must have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Must be self-motivated, energetic, and able to partner effectively with HR team and leadership to gain their respect and trust
- Must be able to hold yourself and others accountable for a high level of performance and integrity
- Must be able to work in a challenging environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged
- Must be willing to work extended hours per day or per week, including weekends and/or holidays if necessary to meet business needs
- Strong experience in Applicant tracking systems
- Must be able to walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces and sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to routinely climb / descend stairs.
- On occasion must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows / knees, and reach above / below shoulders.
- Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions.
