From this beginning, we have developed to become recognized throughout the international fishing industry as the go-to control systems team for seafood processing, in vessel and shore-based factories.
This process control expertise is leading to projects across the food and beverage sector, including bottling facilities with a focus on high-availability equipment updates.
About the roleThe Electrical Engineer will join our existing team of engineers in support of business growth and be responsible for new automation control system design as well as support for installed systems on customer sites.
Each day will look quite different for you. You could be on a customer's ship in Alaska, a factory in Bellevue or in our facility in Fife. It is important that you enjoy variety, which will include;site customer support, diagnosing issues and recommending remedial actions
system and panel design, using common OEM software
and SCADA programming
creation of drawings, using EPLAN – We are also looking for a dedicated electrical drafter with expertise in EPLAN Pro Panel and EPLAN Electric P8
leadership and technical expertise in panel build
to customer locations, typically around 1 week per month, but sometimes over longer periods as projects dictate
overtime or weekend working may be required but is not routine.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
experience as an Electrical engineer, typically 3 years or more
problem-solving and analytical abilities
experience with CAD software
interpersonal skills and a collaborative style
including willingness to travel for business.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
or Master's degree in electrical engineering
in Marine / Maritime electrical engineering
in food manufacturing, including the fish processing industry
in process manufacturing, including food and beverage
in power management
in PLC and SCADA programming
in working in a customer facing engineering role
driver's license.
