    Description
    The Associate Project Manager is an integral position for the Move Delivery Team.

    The Associate Project Manager is the primary point of contact for client to schedule, coordinate and provide customer service within the large corporate campus.

    A move could be for one to thousands of employees.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Manages scope and schedule for multiple move projects.


    Demonstrates capability to read, understand and apply standard documents affecting move projects, including but not limited to: agreements/contracts, surveys and drawings.

    Interfaces directly with clients to define project requirements.

    Prepares scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.

    Engages with vendors to coordinate and manage move activities. Conducts simple request for proposals; completes bid analysis with management support.

    Creates move project within move tools including setting up spreadsheets and presentations.

    Implements communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client, team admins and move partners fully informed. Facilitates project meetings.

    Conducts presentations to team admins about the move process and steps

    Creates, formats and verifies reports

    Conducts walkthrough of buildings for facilities and furniture needs and discrepancies in data.

    Creates move maps, labels and nameplates

    Runs post-move help center. Supports move email inbox by replying to emails and troubleshooting client needs.

    Provides exceptional customer service both pre and post move.

    Supports coworkers with the move process and acts as a team player.

    Provides training to relocation coordinators.

    Implements project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensures project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated.

    Tracks progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Creates action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule.

    Implements change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure Client approvals, and issue change orders. Assesses change requests to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk with management support.


    Implements standard risk management routines with management support, to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.

    Other duties as assigned.


    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.

    Manages 3rd party project delivery resources/team (typically smaller team). Responsible for tracking performance and motivating team members.

    EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University and/or equivalent related experience.

    1+ year related experience
    Ability to maintain composure under pressure. Advanced customer service skills.

    Advanced skills in Excel

    CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

    PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.
