Summary

About the Position: Works under the general administration direction of the Chief of Programs & Project Management Division who makes assignments of a very broad and general nature covering long range program plans, objectives and policies.

Duties

• Apply an extensive knowledge of management concepts, principles, and practices as well as a general knowledge of the methods, practices and processes of technical disciplines.
• Serves as the Chief of Military Programs and Project Management Branch responsible for execution.
• This position is responsible for the vertical and horizontal integration products to execute Military projects and manage the program for the district.
• Responsible for overseeing the District's International and Interagency Services (IIS) program, ensuring that accepted and funded projects are executed in keeping with overall program objectives and goals.
• Responsible for the overall content and quality of Project Management System (P2) data for the Military and IIS Program.
• Collateral duties as the Deputy Division Chief for Programs and Project Management; oversees the Programs and Project Management Division's Operating Budget to include financial and personnel resources.
• Ensure customer expectations and performance potential are compatible by assuring that customer options are clearly identified at the beginning of the project, and customer-care philosophy prevails throughout the life cycle of the project.
• Ensure incorporation of technical reviews to ensure of design and construction will produce quality projects that will result in customer satisfaction.
