    Job Summary

    Reporting to the Director of Asset Management, this role will focus on developing and improving processes and products, implementing projects, and supporting business development, the facility and their business processes as needed.

    Job Responsibilities

    1) Analyzes and proposes changes and improvements to workflows and processes at both, production, and business process levels.

    2) Review workflow, space requirements and layout of equipment for maximum efficiency.

    3) Works alongside the different departments at the Ohio-based facilities.

    4) Lead product development initiatives.

    5) Lead continuous process improvements including troubleshooting while using root cause analysis and other problem-solving tools.

    6) Incorporates technologies, practices, processes, and tools to boost throughput and cost-related efficiencies.

    7) Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control initiatives and tools.

    8) Ensure output meets quality standards.

    9) Standardizes processes, methods, and procedures.

    10) Performs internal quality audits to guarantee adherence to Quality Systems.

    11) Follows a project management approach to developing and implementing activities, including managing subcontractors.

    12) Creates and modifies layouts, models, and assemblies using CAD software.

    13) Implement manufacturing methodologies (5S, lean, TPS, 6-sigma, just-in-time, among others) to achieve desired results.

    14) Lead undertakings from definition and abstract stages to implementation and control with manufacturing crews.

    15) Ensure all health and safety precautions are taken, policies are followed and enforced.

    16) The Manufacturing and Process Engineer may be reassigned to other work matching their qualifications from time to time.

    17) Works on quotations of product and liaises with Customers on technical matters upon Management request.

    18) Might be required to supervise personnel.

    19) Manages Contractors for the projects assigned to them.

    Qualifications & Skills

    Qualifications

    · Minimum of 10 years of experience of relevant post-graduated experience.

    · Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering is desired.

    · Experience defining and implementing projects using project management tools.

    • Experience implementing continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and other manufacturing methodologies.
    • Understanding of Quality Management Systems, ISO 9001, and Quality Control.
    • Strong experience and skills in using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS.
    • Experience programming and/or operating CNC equipment – mills, lathes, routers, is preferred.
    • Experience in defining and implementing processes.
    • Experience in Plant Operations and Manufacturing is preferred.
