    GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:


    Under the direction of the Supervisor of Autism Services or designee, responsibilities are to participate in the implementation of the ABA benefit for eligible individuals with an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis.

    The ABA Technician will work primarily within the Autism Program implementing applied behavior analysis interventions, but may be assigned to other appropriate clinical cases for the provision of ABA, including but not limited to children and adults with a developmental disability.

    The individual functions as part of an inter-disciplinary team and services are delivered both in an outpatient clinic setting and in-home.

    Interventions provided by the ABA Technician require oversight by a BCBA or other qualified professional.


    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


    Completed at least 25 semester hours of college in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Sciences, Human Development or related fields
    OR holds a current Registered Behavior Technician credential in good standing with the BACB (must submit proof of credential).


    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:


    During the first 6 months of employment, Must successfully complete the online College of Applied Human Services ABA Fundamental course (30 hours) as provided by the agency
    OR produce documentation of current RBT credential to maintain employment.

    Must have a valid driver's license, current insurance, and use of a vehicle during working hours.

    Ability to physically perform the tasks.


    PREFERENCES:
    Prior experience working with children that have special needs.


    A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Sciences, Human Development or related fields or currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program with the above credits completed.
