    Base Salary Range:
    • Level I - $27.25 per hour
    • Level II - $29.29 per hour
    Depending on qualifications and experience, New Accounts Representative I or II may be considered.

    Position Overview:
    Heritage Bank is currently offering an exciting opportunity to join our team at the Marysville Branch as a new accounts representative.
    The ideal candidate will help customers achieve their financial objectives by delivering outstanding customer service, assisting with new account openings, supporting branch sales efforts, resolving account issues promptly and accurately, and handling various operational responsibilities.
    This full-time position has a typical schedule of Monday 8:15 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. and Tuesday through Thursday 8:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m., with Fridays from 8:45 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. Flexibility is required to accommodate training and staff absences.
    • Build and nurture strong business relationships with customers
    • Open new accounts and promote bank products
    • Collaborate with other departments to meet customer needs
    • Stay informed about current banking products and services
    • Maintain customer confidentiality and ensure compliance with regulations
    • Participate in branch events and community initiatives
    Responsibilities include processing deposits, verifying information, issuing receipts, handling account holds, and maintaining accurate transaction records.

    Requirements:
    • Level I: 1+ years of new accounts and sales experience in the financial services sector
    • Level II: 2+ years of new accounts and sales experience in the financial services sector
    • Familiarity with banking regulations and operations
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
    • Proficiency in English (additional languages a plus)
    • Knowledge of banking systems and willingness to learn new technologies
    • Possession of National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration or eligibility to obtain it
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
    Working Environment/Conditions:
    The role is based in a climate-controlled office setting and requires regular attendance, punctuality, and flexibility in working schedules.
    Occasional exposure to security risks related to criminal activities, with necessary precautions in place.
    Physical Demands/Effort:
    The job involves prolonged computer use, reading, and sitting, along with manual tasks requiring hand-eye coordination and mobility.
    Physical capabilities include standing, sitting, kneeling, bending, and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
