Position Description Our Concrete Form Carpenters construct, erect, install, and repair commercial structures and fixtures of various materials using both manual and power tools and conforming to local building codes. The typical day consists of working safely as part of a team building and setting concrete forms, pouring and finishing concrete, and assisting supervisors in orienting and training new employees. Regular working hours are Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with some Saturdays and Sundays to meet project schedules. Travel is daily to various job site locations within a 100-mile radius of office with occasional out-of-town work.

Position Requirements

Knowledge, Experience & Competencies:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a carpenter helper in a commercial construction environment
• Must have basic competencies in mathematics and be able to perform math operations rapidly and accurately
• Ability to lay out and build forms square
• Ability to work well under time constraints and in a team-based environment
• Ability to operate equipment as well as manual and power tools typically used by carpenters in commercial construction
