Job summary
The Certified Anesthesia Technologist assists the anesthesia provider under the supervision of the Chief of Anesthesiology.The position involves collaborating with the anesthesia provider to develop an anesthesia plan of care for patients. The technologist performs patient care activities such as setting up and applying non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
They also assist with direct patient care for infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Responsibilities include preparing and applying patient warming modalities when needed.
The technologist participates in problem identification and resolution,
