    This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing top-quality care and maximizing patient functional independence. As a Business Office Manager/Billing Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care while also managing the financial aspects of our facility.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collect private payments, co-payments, and share of cost payments from residents or their families.
    • Set up payment plans for patients who cannot afford to pay their balance upfront.
    • Ensure accurate insurance entry and updates for all patients.
    • Assist with new admissions by confirming insurance coverage and verifying that our facility accepts their insurance.
    • Communicate with residents about copay start dates and due dates to prevent any financial surprises.

    Requirements:

    • At least one year of direct business office/collections experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
    • Point Click Care system experience is highly preferred.
    • High School Diploma required; degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
    • Accounts payable and accounts receivable experience a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of healthcare insurance (Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, Hospice) is essential.
