    Finance Analyst, Indirect Expenses

    Location: Remote at Kohler, WI


    Opportunity

    • Leads the Home Energy budget activities for several indirect expenses, including selling, marketing and advertising.

    This role will own the monthly actual, forecast & plan budget process for these indirect lines of the income statement.

    The position will also consolidate actual income statement results while maintaining accurate product line results.

    • Specific Responsibilities
    • Lead preparation of monthly cost center spending projections and annual budgets for indirect lines of the income statement.

    Also responsible for coordinating any explanations of variances from plan or projection along with corrective action analysis for these lines.


    • Close coordination with sales, marketing and advertising leaders to properly maintain budgets. This includes partnership to educate functional leads on budgetary pressures and drive ownership.
    • Responsible for actual, forecast and plan cost center assessments and/or COPA (product line) logic for sales, marketing and advertising, ensuring accurate product line reporting.
    • Responsible for coordinating both the planning and projection process for key indirect balance sheet accounts such as accrued marketing & advertising.
    • Completion of monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations as assigned.
    • Manage accuracy of detailed project accounting (WBS elements) in SAP.
    • Own the consolidation of monthly income statement results while maintaining accurate product line results for all of Home Energy. This includes balancing of profit center results and product line results.
    • Responsible for ACT & ROI analysis for new channel programs and others as delegated by Controller – Home Energy.

    Skills/Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance or Accounting.
    • Preferred 1-2 years of experience.
    • Demonstrated the ability to work cross-functionally.
    • Knowledge of SAP, BPC, Excel, or Power BI preferred.

    _The salary range for this position is $69,800 - $87,950.

    The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
