    JOB TITLE: CWI/NDT Level 2 Inspector

    SUMMARY: Quality Control inspection and associated documentation of Process Piping systems within a controlled environment.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as OSHA, EPA, and other relevant authorities. Conduct inspections on fabricated and installed piping, mechanical equipment, skids, modular systems, and components as per project requirements.
    • Conduct various tests including Nondestructive Testing, visual and Borescope inspections, and oversee pressure tests, flushing, cleaning, and passivation of fabricated and installed pipe.
    • Review and approve Quality Plans, inspection procedures, and relevant records. Inspect mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies for alignment and functionality, report equipment issues, and ensure adherence to codes and standards.
    • Upload inspection reports to the project EIDA electronic documentation system. Ensure all valves, tubing, fittings, and instruments meet project specifications. Maintain NDE personnel qualifications and oversee subcontractor inspectors' qualifications.
    • Initiate Surveillance Reports and Non-Conformance Reports when necessary. Participate in turnover package documentation. Conduct quality checks on welding processes and verify welders' certifications.
    Requirements:
    • ASNT Level II certification minimum requirement.
    • Experience in Biopharmaceutical construction.
    • Proficient in Material Receiving and Material Inspections.
    • Familiarity with relevant codes (e.g., BPE, B31.3) and inspection methods such as Borescope.
    • Ability to read P&IDs, attention to detail, and understanding of test boundaries and flow paths.
    • Experience in building Turn Over Packages and performing basic data entry tasks.
    • Must pass drug screening and background checks.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, PowerPoint.

    • Physical demands vary from standing, walking, sitting, using dexterity, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling.
    • Work may involve proximity to moving parts, high places, fumes, particles, or chemicals. Moderate noise level in the work environment.
    • Ability to lift and move items over 20 pounds, wear protective equipment, and navigate indoor and outdoor obstacles for inspections.
