- Attend and participate in internal meetings (stand-up, grooming, planning meetings, etc.) and external meetings with clients (requirement gathering, business workflow meetings, etc.)
- Proactively drive backlog refinement of New Features and User Stories
- Proactively solicit and document requirements of client feature requests into Azure DevOps
- Proactively create, design, and maintain User Stories in Azure DevOps
- Proactively learn and engage with the Adora POS software
- Facilitate and collaborate with internal team (Software Architect, Product Owner, Sr. Developers, Instructional Designer) to generate initial designs and mockups for User Stories in Azure DevOps
- Validate finalized Designs and Acceptance Criteria with Product Owner
- Create and maintain appropriate artifacts including Business Requirements, Functional requirements, Business Requirements, Use Cases, User Stories, Business Process Diagrams (BPMN), Scenarios, Acceptance Criteria, and UI Mockups
- Support Epics planning and Epic artifact creation
- Support the product vision artifact creation (needs analysis based on market and technology drivers
- Support in the Development Leads with business knowledge for Technical Documentation efforts (reference architecture, etc)
- Support the Product Manager with business knowledge the creation of Change Orders
- Support the developers and QA team with any questions they may have about the functional requirements and follow up with any stakeholder if necessary to get the answers for User Stories
- 2 - 4 years professional experience as a Software Business Analyst
- Daily office presence is required; this is NOT a work from home or remote work position
- Proven software requirements elicitation and requirements documentation skills
- Strong knowledge of Software Business Analysis
- Strong technical, organizational, communication and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of SDLC and agile development processes
- Expertise in writing User Stories in an Agile SDLC environment
- Adora POS is looking for candidates who are already authorized to work in the United States of America without the need for visa sponsorship
- Understanding of Azure DevOps
