    Position Summary

    Reporting to the Sr Director, ESG Regulatory Reporting and Environmental Communications, the Senior Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our ESG Regulatory Reporting requirements.

    They will play a key role for all ESG regulatory filing requirements including (but not limited to) preparation for the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, California Climate Legislation, German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, and future SEC reporting requirements.

    This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our mission and help BMS comply with global ESG regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities
    Manage the implementation of compliance-ready activities and regulatory reporting, serving as PMO.
    Manage multiple regulatory workstreams in tandem, ensuring continuous progress toward project milestones.

    Manage regulatory reporting activities including:
    Gap analysis and roadmap development
    Mapping of required disclosures for reporting
    Identification of and engagement with subject matter experts
    Managing internal processes to secure required information and metrics for disclosure
    Directing activities of working groups


    Help facilitate the development of disclosure narratives, working with Legal, Compliance & Ethics, Finance, Internal Audit, Controls, and SMEs across functions to deliver on requirements of ESG disclosure regulations.

    Support SMEs in the development of externally disclosed KPIs and position statement / policies, as required by regulatory reporting.
    Collaborate with Business Controls Function to ensure process mapping, implementation and controls are in place to meet reporting requirements.
    Support audit and assurance activities for reporting.
    Prepare and lead regulatory working groups, working collaboratively across the business and alongside external agencies.

    Support internal alignment and awareness across the enterprise regarding preparation of external reporting and compliance documents, reporting processes, reporting requirements and action plans.

    Ensure the implementation of appropriate frameworks and processes to deliver high quality, timely, and reliable data for inclusion in regulatory disclosures.

    Identify process improvements to streamline and accelerate reporting timeframes and harmonize across divergent standards.
    Drive desired outcomes by coordinating and working effectively across the ESG team and with external stakeholders.
    Qualifications & Experience

    Minimum of 6 years of experience in management consulting, project management, ESG reporting, or a combination of education and professional experience that would provide an equivalent career foundation.

    Bachelor's degree required.
    Experience in life sciences or biopharmaceutical industries a plus.
    Experience in ESG reporting and/or familiarity with ESG reporting landscape through other industries preferred.

    Ability to be adept in advancing and new technology, applications; and skills in basic operational software such as Excel, Word, SharePoint, project management tools.

    Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills.
    Ability to 'switch gears' quickly and competently in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
    Strong interpersonal skills, ability to drive results and deliver to established timelines.
    Detail-oriented, exceptional organization skills.
