    Description

    Job Title: Project Accountant

    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure timely and accurate project reporting.
    • Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
    • Review and audit vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with contract requirements.
    • Analyze and set up billing rates and terms per contracts.
    • Prepare client invoices and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
    • Follow system controls to ensure data integrity.
    • Review project financial data monthly to ensure completeness and accuracy.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant field.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in operational accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
    • Experience with CMIC is an asset.

    Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
