    I am seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Manager, Corporate Communications to join the New York office of a Global Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Agency. My client specializes in strategic corporate communications, public affairs, with an international presence, they work with clients across various industries to shape and manage their reputations, navigate complex issues, and assist C-suite with their executive positioning.

    The ideal Senior Account Manager will have a strong communications agency background, demonstrating expertise in managing client relationships, leading projects, and coordinating with internal teams, and will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to the clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, maintaining strong relationships and understanding their business objectives
    • Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, quality execution, and adherence to budget constraint
    • Strategic Counsel: Provide strategic counsel to clients on corporate communications, public affairs, and stakeholder engagement strategies, leveraging industry insights and best practice
    • Team Development: Mentor and guide junior team members, providing constructive feedback, support, and opportunities for growth
    • International Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the UK team to ensure seamless execution of shared client work, aligning strategies and objectives across regions
    • New Business Development: Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities for organic growth within existing client accounts and contributing to new business pitches and proposals

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field
    • Experience in corporate communications within an agency
    • Proven track record of managing client relationships and leading successful projects
    • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate client objectives into actionable plans
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
    • Experience working with international teams or clients is preferred
